Volunteer Information

  Food Vendors

Vendors that will be selling food items such as BBQ, Fish, Nachos, Italian Ice etc. you must fill out the Non Profit Temporary Food Permit. This form must be completed and sent to the Cobb Center for Environmental Health Dept. by Thursday, May 10, 2012 (NO EXCEPTIONS). Upon receipt of the form the health dept will issue temporary permits to all vendors on the day of the event. They will come around to make sure all necessary safety and sanitizing implementations are in place before they give you your permit.

Attached is a checklist for food vendors to use in setting up their prospective stations.

The Fire Department will also be walking around as they did last year checking each food vendor utilizing "open flames" for cooking. If you are using open flames you must have a small working fire extinguisher. If you do not have a working fire extinguisher you will not be issued your food permit the day of the event.

Send your Temporary Food Permit to the Health Department but your Juneteenth application and a copy of your Food Permit Application needs to be sent to the Cobb County NAACP office.
