As I reflect upon my presidency of the Cobb County Branch of the NAACP, the following represents the branch's most morable achievements. A diverse team of executive board members and committee chairs was formulated; they shared the vision ofth NAACP and were willing to work together for all the citizens of Cobb County. |

A strong educational committee was established, resulting in a positive working relationship among parents, students, and other community members;
furthermore, this committee addressed key educational issues and relevant topics affecting the youth of Cobb County. In addition, a close association was developed with the Cobb Alliance of Black School Educators (CABSE), which ailed a sharing of ideas that initiated various programs, which benefited the youth of Cobb County. |

A Freedom Fund Dinner committee with over 20 chair persons gained numerous cooperate participation resulting in not only a successful dinner, but also over 900 people in attendance. |

As a National Board Member (in
conjunction with being the local branch president), I served as a liaison between the local branch and the National Board, enabling a "grassroots perspective" to be alive and active on the National Board. Subsequently, I was able to share National concerns and issues with the local branch and community. The local branch received vital training, which made us strong NAACP officers and executive board members. |
